The park closed with the collapse of the U.S. economy in 2008 due to poor timing and issues with location of the land. Hard Rock management dubbed her, “The Kick Ass Web Mistress,” her favorite job title.
Her marketing experience includes starting at a GE subsidiary (GE Plastic’s Polymerland) when Jack Welch was the CEO. One of the highlights of her career was to be three deep from Mr. Welch (Bob Bedillion – CEO, Irene Hudkins – V.P. Marketing and then Laura.) She learned a lot about what it takes to run a company from those three people. GE Plastics as a division was sold for 9 Billion dollars.

She has one daughter, Sarah Kerbyson, who is now grown.
She enjoys driving her Porsche, flying airplanes as the co-pilot and redesigning yacht interiors and houses in the endless pursuit of design and style. The largest yacht she has captained is 48 feet.
She is best known for her iconic interfaces.
