Into the “Ice Chest”…

01 Dec

I’ve now lost enough weight to wear my rings that I wore in my 20s and 30s. They are a size 4.5. They are snug but I can get them on. I couldn’t believe I could get them on today.

With every major career achievement or event in my life, I added a jewel to my chest to remember the experience.

My GE Ring was a Sapphire and Diamond ring.

Hard Rock Park was a Pink and White Sapphire ring.

My best birthday present when I was married was a Ruby and Diamond ring.

When I tangoed with Iran it brought an 18k Emerald and Diamond ring. The ring is actually from Iran.

My memories from Hilton Head were represented in a gold and Sapphire Dolphin Ring.

I couldn’t believe I could get them all on today. They were all purchased in my younger days. I am now at the weight I was at when I was 20 years old. I purchased the “GE Ring” when I was 19 years old.

I can’t believe it but I can actually get on my Emerald and Diamond Graduate School Ring for getting a 4.o GPA. That’s a wide band ring. Ohio University’s colors are green and white.

This was my grad school ring. It’s the one I worked the hardest for…

That weight is actually my personality and most of my life so I suspect it’s back to stay.

This Christmas I am getting a 4 ct. Emerald Cut for the right hand. I haven’t seen the ring yet. I’m looking forward to this one.
